The CHIP website has a new addition – an online resource detailing roles and responsibilities in the Hearings System. You can view the new resource here.
The resource has sections for each of the main organisations in the Hearings System.
The resource provides an at a glance guide and links to more detail on partner websites such as Children’s Hearings Scotland and the Scottish Children’s Reporter Administration.
Minister for Early Years and Childcare Maree Todd said:
“The Children’s Hearings System relies on many organisations working together to ensure we deliver good experiences and outcomes for children.”
“The new online resource published by the Children’s Hearings Improvement Partnership (CHIP) will help young people, families and system partners better understand the roles and responsibilities of all participants in a Hearing, which is to be welcomed.”
This is the first time a resource has been created which details everyone who has a key role to play in the Children’s Hearings System. The site will grow over time and the next step is publishing information about Hearing processes.
