SCRA has published its second Annual Report for Young People today, Wednesday 30 January.
Back in 2017 SCRA launched a Corporate Parenting Plan and followed this in 2018 with their very first Annual Report for Young People. The report looked back over the year, charting progress against six commitments that SCRA had pledged to children and young people though their Corporate Parenting plan.
The Annual Report for Young People 2018, which can be read here, reaffirms each of those commitments. Against each one, SCRA gives examples of the type of things they have been working on to make the Children’s Hearings System better for children and young people.
Head of Strategy and Organisational Development, Lisa Bennett, is SCRA’s lead on Corporate Parenting, she said: “We have worked hard to keep the momentum going. After such a productive first year we have continued to deliver meaningful and practical changes and improvements.
“Our hope is that these will impact positively on the experiences of children and young people coming to Hearings.”
