The University of Strathclyde has published new research today into the role of the Safeguarder in the Children’s Hearings System. You can read the report here.
Minister for Early Years and Childcare Maree Todd welcomed publication of the report. She said: “We are pleased to publish today research undertaken by University of Strathclyde into the role of the Safeguarder in the modernised Children’s Hearings System.
“The report also recognises the potential perceived overlap with other professional roles in the system. Children and families need to be clear about the different roles and responsibilities.”
