The Mock Children’s Hearing:
½ Day training
Participants will get a general overview of the Children’s Hearings System and then participate in a children’s hearing.
The ‘Mock’ is particularly suited to professionals who have little or no experience of the Children’s Hearings System and children’s hearings. It is suitable for up to 14 participants and it works best within a working Children’s Hearing centre.
The ‘Mock’ will also have the effect of reducing the numbers of observers within children’s hearings which is one key element of change requested for a long time by young people.
